Finally got it after a long wait! The packaging’s super fancy and premium—total vibes! Loving the key case too, super handy! Plus, it’s way easier on the wallet compared to Flir.
You just install the app, plug it and it works. Contrast is good and the different view modes is excellent.
In my experience, the P2 offers better clarity than my previous Topdon camera, especially when using the X³ mode. Considering the price, I would definitely recommend the P2 for anyone looking for great performance at a solid value.
The hardware is good but usb connector fragile and breaks off board after a while. I am on my 6th camera. The software is good but misses two key features. 1) you cannot save layouts, lines, rectangles, points etc. 2) you cannot set the manual temperature scale beyond what is visible to the camera. Example: I am configuring the camera in the office where the hottest item is 40degC but I want to set the scale between 10 and 150degC ready to go in the workshop and take measurements. You can type the numbers in but it reverts to the visible range. FLiR has this feature. The same issues exist on the P2 Pro and have done for the last 3yrs. Our business use these cameras extensively for research & development. They are very good but if you would address these issues, especially the app they would be exceptional!

P2 supports 15x zoom. You can achieve 1-15x zoom by sliding two fingers on the screen.
Does the P2 need to be charged? How long does the battery last?
P2 doesn't need to be charged separately. When connected to a smartphone or tablet, the device will power the P2. With a power consumption of only 0.3W, it can operate for 5-7 hours on a 3000-5000mAh phone.
