FAQ
Can the X2 measure temperature?
The X2 can turn your phone into a thermal camera and a thermal monocular. Equipped with a large 9mm lens, X2 is more suitable for long-distance observation. Typical thermal imaging lenses on smartphones are usually 3.2mm. Compared to smaller lenses, longer lenses may have some limitations in temperature measurement accuracy.
What is the X³ super algorithm?
X³ algorithm is Thermal Master's latest technology, which upgrades the IR resolution from 256x192 to 512x384, presenting extremely clear and sharp images
Can the X2 detect deer? how far can it see?
The X2 has a detection range of over 950 yards and can identify hogs, coyotes, and deer from over 240 yards away.
Can the X2 zoom in and out?
X2 supports 15x zoom. You can achieve 1-15x zoom by sliding two fingers on the screen.
Is the X2 suitable for bird watching? How to suppress sky effect?
X2 has a super bird-watching mode. With the exclusive Insight+ algorithm, X2 can intelligently filter out false targets, achieving zero sky effect.
Does the X2 have a light leak prevention mode? How do I activate it?
X2 has Ninja Mode, utilizing a unique non-exposure technology to ensure complete stealth while outdoors, so you don't have to worry about disturbing your prey.
Is X2 suitable for use in brush? How can I make the animal stand out more?
X2 features exclusive HD and Highlight modes. The Highlight mode makes targets stand out, especially when game is covered by dense forest and brush. The HD mode provides ultra-clear and sharp thermal images.
Can the X2 measure distances?
X2 can be optionally equipped with a rangefinder. It can achieve dynamic continuous ranging up to 656 yards with precise measurements of 0.1 yards
Does the X2 need to be charged? How long does the battery last?
The X2 doesn't need separate charging. When paired with ArmorX, it can provide up to 18 hours of extended battery life.
What modifications can be made to ArmorX?
ArmorX can be equipped with a compound bow, laser rangefinder, tactical flashlight, tactical helmet, tactical vest, and three Picatinny rails.
How do you use the compound bow mode?
The compound bow mode is exclusive to X2. It has two unique patents. In compound bow mode, there are five independent position, each of which can be individually adjusted and has an automatic memory function. Compared to other products, it can increase observation efficiency by 270%.
Why are the images clearer than other expensive thermal imagers?
X2 features a second-gen ASIC graphics processor and Thermal Master chip, along with Razor X, TEMP IQ+ and Insight+ algorithm. Its offer clearer images and more precise temperature measurements.
Can all smartphone use the X2?
Thermal Master has 7 years of expertise in developing mobile thermal imagers and holds world-leading core technology in this field. It is compatible with nearly a thousand phone models worldwide. Despite the extensive range, there may still be a few models that are not supported.
