Thermal Master T2 Max World's smallest thermal monocular

This is my first thermal camera. I've looked at and considered them from time to time, mainly looking to see areas in our house that could use help with insulation. But also for spotting pest critters during low light.This is definitely geared more towards use in nature. Honestly at first I wasn't sure if it was just a night vision camera with different image styles, but I did put my hand on an exterior door for several seconds and the camera did pick up the residual heat signature, so that eased my mind enough that it is actually picking up heat.Image quality is good, adjusting the focusing ring does get a little tedious if you're looking at various distances in quick succession. Several other aspects are also a bit tedious. The camera clamp for example has a fairly fine thread and is designed for thr smallest screens up to the largest. Unfortunately I have a larger phone and it seems to take forever to get the screw completely undone to get the phone into the clamp and tightened back down. Then to store back in the case it fits best if that screw is tightened all the way again.I also took the camera module out of the laser grip, but again, a tedious undertaking, and I would definitely not recommend trying to do that put in the field as the 2 screws for the USB-C port on the right side are nearly microscopic and would easily be lost with one wrong move. Going from the grip to rail-mount is easy enough though.I might be missing something from the tiny print in the manual but I couldn't figure out if the laser is supposed to give a range or is just meant to be a visual target of sorts. There is a setting for a Bluetooth connection but only other devices that I've already connected to would show up. I guess I need to get away from the house and try again.One other feature that I was hoping to have is the temperature readout for the target area, but that doesn't seem to be an available feature, which for wildlife use is less of a concern than using for around the house. At this price, I think having some added usability would be nice.Overall the images do come out fairly clear. I haven't checked the stated range, but I'd have to agree with a review on YouTube that said at anything over about 500yds with this camera you would see a signature difference, but most likely wouldn't be able to clearly and positively ID the source of heat. So I think it is a decent thermal camera, but could maybe have some more clarification on the features of the laser grip and features of the camera itself.

When you are out in the middle of nowhere in pitch darkness, it's nice to be able to grab and portable thermal imager to see. On our last backwoods outing, that's exactly what the Thermal Master T2 allowed us to do. Hearing a noise close to our location, I was able to locate that noise and found a bear in our vicinity give us the chance to scare it away.I have other thermal imaging tools, but none as portable. Most of us carry a cell phone even while camping. The T2 worked great with my Android phone. it's extremely small and attaches to the charging port on my phone. It will detect a heat signature out to a good distance. The focus adjustment is a nice feature. It has a built-in 15x zoom but the image may be a little blurry at the max. It does drain the phone battery if used constantly.Overall, a good tool to have for everyday use or on the dark night occasions.

Diese äußerst kompakte Wärmebildkamera besticht durch ihre beeindruckende Leistung. Mit Abmessungen von 26 × 26 × 32 mm ist sie relativ klein und lässt sich dank des fest integrierten USB-C-Anschlusses direkt an ein Android- oder iOS-Smartphone oder -Tablet anschließen. Sie bietet die Möglichkeit, die einzelnen Farbpaletten je nach Anwendung optimal zu nutzen. Der eigentliche Sensor entspricht dem Standard mit 256 × 192 Pixeln, das Bild wird jedoch softwareseitig auf 512 × 384 Pixel hochgerechnet, was zu einer signifikanten Steigerung der Schärfe führt. Im unteren Bildrand befindet sich zudem ein Kompass sowie eine Ortsangabe, die die präzise Lokalisierung des gesuchten Objekts ermöglicht. Die beträchtliche Größe des Objektivs gewährleistet eine außergewöhnlich hohe Empfindlichkeit, wodurch die Kamera selbst Personen im Unterholz mühelos erfassen kann. Dieses kompakte Gerät eignet sich hervorragend für die Jagd und ist natürlich auch für die Personensuche bestens geeignet.

Very nice Monoscope Type Thermal Imaging Camera or device.It definitely lives up to all the advertisement! However, if you are going to use T2 Max as a hunting sight on a weapon, you need a good laser site mounted on the rail of the T2 max as there is no zeroing adjustments on the T2. However, it dose have focus ring on lens.The T2 is a Thermal imaging camera, NOT a scope.CL, Portland Oregon
